Our Presenter Team

Martin Smit is a highly experienced Physical Sciences educator with over 28 years of teaching expertise. Since 2000, he has specialised in teaching Grade 12 Physical Sciences and has played a significant role in the national examination process. He has been involved in the marking of Grade 12 National Senior Certificate examination papers since 2004 and has served as a Deputy Chief Marker since 2015.

In 2010, Mr. Smit established a private education centre in Pretoria, offering additional support to Grade 10–12 learners. His goal was to provide learners with the skills, confidence, and in-depth understanding needed to succeed academically. He continues to be actively involved in daily teaching at both his school and private centre.

With his extensive experience, subject mastery, and commitment to educational excellence, Mr. Smit is well-positioned to lead the development of a world-class online educational platform. His vision is to help develop well-prepared, highly skilled young individuals who can contribute meaningfully to the future of South Africa. His passion lies in demystifying complex scientific concepts and witnessing the moment of clarity and confidence in his learners.

In 2024, the team was pleased to welcome Ms. Chane Lombard, who now presents Physical Sciences to learners in Grades 9 to 11. Ms. Lombard is a dedicated and talented educator, whose engaging teaching style and deep subject knowledge leave a lasting impact on her students.

In 2025, Mr. Stefan J.V. Rensburg joined the academic team. A qualified engineer with a strong background in education, Mr. Rensburg teaches Mathematics for Grades 10 and 11, as well as Grade 10 Physical Sciences. His analytical approach, combined with a passion for teaching, enables him to present complex mathematical and scientific content in an accessible and inspiring way.

Together, this team of experienced professionals is committed to delivering high-quality education and empowering learners to reach their full academic potential.
